Computer Science Terms.

During the last meeting, I learned about a few CS terms that would be useful to me for the future. I learned:

deprecated - which means to mark a component of a software standard obsolete to warn against its use in the future so that it may be phased out. 

Example : The aliquot # was deprecated from U_Pb redux. 

refractor - disciplined technique for restructuring an existing body of code, altering its internal structure without changing its external behavior

metadata - is about individual instances of application data, the data content. "Data about data".
